Key Club charter members installed in Hoosick Falls
Hoosick Falls Kiwanis sponsors a new Key Club formed from Hoosick Falls Central School and St. Mary’s Academy students. Leonard Liporace presented the charter to Ralph Liparace, with Anthony Pusatere installing 24 members and officers. Wilcox named dairy committee chair in Shaftsbury county group
Gerald Wilcox of Manchester accepted the chairmanship of the Bennington County Farm Bureau Dairy Committee at a county trustees meeting held at the home of Mr and Mrs Carl Fuller. Wilcox, a Vermont graduate, runs Wilcox Dairy in Manchester and will help plan a milk promotion program at his home on March 6 at 8 pm. Mrs Vera Fuller and Mrs Martha Williamson are finalizing this year’s membership drive.

North Adams State offers TV course on Principles of Economics
North Adams State College in cooperation with the Instructional Media Center produces a 15 program TV series on Principles of Economics. Offered for credit via Pittsfield Teleview Channel, registration runs weekdays through March 9 in Murdock Hall Room 18 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Costs mirror regular courses: 22 dollars per hour in state, 29 out of state, plus 10 dollar registration, 5 dollar library, and 1 dollar ID fees. Courses require on campus three times: March 6 orientation in Bowman Hall Room 215, midterm, and final exams. Taught by Prof. Richard Yach. production supervised by Mrs. Maurice Horsman.
