Three northbound cars collide on Route 7 near Hardwood Hill injuring two Arlington residents treated for minor neck injuries. A station wagon and a New York driver’s car crash after a passing attempt, with no serious injuries. Additional minor two car accidents occur on Route 346 and North Street Gage Street. Two denials over firing of Mrs Hackel
Gov Thomas P Salmon denied a report that labor officials pressed for the firing of Employment Security Commissioner Stella Hackel in exchange for campaign contributions.
