Marlboro College dean of students Edward E. Wendell Jr. will lecture Monday evening February 26 at 8 in the dining hall. His talk, titled Group Representation, will cover representations and characters of finite groups and explore key consequences. The public is invited with no admission charge. Wendell is Harvard mathematics graduate, class of 1962, joined Marlboro in 1962, became assistant dean in 1963, earned an MA in mathematics from the University of Washington in 1966, and returned to Marlboro as dean in 1966.
