Manchester School Bond Meeting Draws Old Faces New Queries

Manchester residents gathered for the final information session on the proposed Manchester Elementary School addition. Director Eugene V. Kayatta reported 27 attendees, with 90 percent familiar with the pitch. If bids exceed 516000 a special town meeting will be called and voters may face a new figure. The project, estimated at 400000 funded by a bond issue, reflects four years of review and cuts, with no resubmission to architects if bids rise.
