Harris Winged Ski Trophy Decides Brattleboro Jump
About 65 jumpers will fly from Harris Hill at Brattleboro on Sunday for a leg in the Harris Winged Ski Trophy, the largest cup in ski jumping. The event starts at 1 p.m. as Brattleboro wraps up its eighth annual Winter Carnival begun with a Queen's Fashion Show.

The downtown events begin with a Main Street parade at 1 o clock followed by a sugar on snow party in a city lot. The Carnival Ball Saturday night includes the queen coronation. Class A jumpers lead by Norm Cummings and Jacques Charland have sent entries to Alan Sargeant. Charland placed third here last year and Cummings second in 1962. Tokle set the hill record at 239 feet in 1951.
