Town forest land unlikely to be sold to National Forest
Manchester selectmen reviewed U S Forest Service land purchases in Lye Brook Wilderness and concluded about 78 acres of town forest may not be sold to the National Forest due to deed restrictions requiring forest management. The restriction could block sale, dimming prospects for raising funds for the recreation area near Pewter and Things.
