Woodcrafter at work in unemployment era
Charles E. Dewey III, laid off when his job as building inspector was abolished, turns to woodworking on Monument Avenue Extension. He crafts a 9 foot Queen Anne highboy inspired by an 18th century Boston maker Benjamin Frothingham, with help from musician George Finckel. Dewey envisions restoring the Walloomsac Inn someday.
