Vermont names Harwood Boardman Howlett to UVM board
The Vermont Legislature named Sen. Robert E. Boardman Sen. Madeline Harwood and Rep. Carey H. Howlett to six year terms on the University of Vermont Board of Trustees. Harwood became the first woman on the board. Boardman won on the second ballot after leadership backed Harwood withdrawal. Howlett secured his seat on the sixth ballot amid Harwood withdrawals.
