General Tax Down 4 Cents Manchester to Vote on School Tax Hike
Manchester voters will decide on increasing both the selectmen and listers from three to five, and raise the school board size. Petitions with 75 signatures were filed. Officials seek higher pay: selectmen $500, three sisters $1600 total, school board members $400. The net tax rate would drop four cents to $4.07, funded partly by sewer projects and state aid changes.
