Vermont jobless rate declines to 7.6 percent

Vermont's unemployment rate slipped to 7.6 percent the week on Friday, down from 7.8 percent. Saint Albans posted the highest rate at 15.1 percent, while Brattleboro was the lowest at 3.4 percent. The overall rate including insured and uninsured workers rose to 5.8 percent from 5.3 percent.
