Petitions to Canada ask end to baby seal kills
Petitions signed by nearly 150,000 Americans are being shipped to Canada by the Animal Protection Institute to end the harp seal kill in the Gulf of the St Lawrence. API, based in Sacramento, works with two Canadian groups to collect signatures and has attracted support from as far as Korea and South Vietnam.
