Vermont Bicentennial transport plan faces funding race

Wickenden Named President of Catamount National Bank

Arthur E. Wickenden of North Bennington was elected Friday president of Catamount National Bank succeeding Jonathan E. Taylor who resigned for personal reasons. Wickenden, 62, has long served the bank since 1945, rising from cashier to senior vice president and had planned retirement. The bank has expanded with multiple branches and remains independent, with plans to go public in a stock sale.
