Connecticut appeals for Niagara power share from NY authorities

Connecticut asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to overturn the New York State Power Authority decision that denied allocations to Connecticut and Massachusetts while granting Niagara power to Vermont and Pennsylvania. Major steel firms announce price hikes nationwide

Bethlehem Steel Corp. said it would raise prices 542 percent on most rolled steel, structural shapes and tin mill products.
