Basic Town Water and Sewer System Could Cost From $5 to $15 Million
A preliminary survey by Dufresne-Henry for Bennington estimates major water and sewer lines and converting the sewer plant to secondary treatment could cost about 5 million dollars. If a complete system serving all town roads is built, total expense might reach 15 million. The plan requires a master water plan to qualify for HUD funds and could take 12 to 13 months for federal responses.
