Unemployed Father Of Nine Faces Court Over Free Power Tap
In Montpelier UP an unemployed man living with his sick wife and nine measles afflicted children in a two room house will appear in court Wednesday on charges of tapping a power line for free electricity. Eugene P Audet of North Fayston appeared in municipal court Friday before Judge John P Connarn who ordered a lawyer assigned and continued the matter. State's attorney John Bernas said Audet would understand the temptation if he were in the same condition. Audet cited his wife’s spinal disease and his recent unemployment as factors.
