Moluccan gunman charged with first degree murder
Amsterdam prosecutors charged a South Moluccan gunman in the hijacked Dutch train case with first degree murder. The suspect, aged 25 and identified as P.S., is hospitalized with facial injuries after a blast aboard the train as police battle continued. The South Moluccan groups seek independence for their homeland from Indonesia and have held hostages including 29 aboard the train near Beilen and 25 at the Indonesian consulate.
