Harness groups seek 60 day harness races in Western Massachusetts
Pioneer Valley Raceway Inc. and Western Massachusetts Racing Associates Inc. filed applications to stage 60 day harness racing sessions in Western Massachusetts next year. PVRI sought races at Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield and a Hatfield site, while a Bowles Airport track proposal was rejected by Agawam Town Council.
