Vermont high court revives trial for unlicensed fire gear sales

The Vermont Supreme Court ruled a district court overstepped by suppressing all testimony in the case of Cpl. Richard E. Alexander and his wife Lorraine. Supreme Court upholds New Jersey bus aid for parochial schools

The Supreme Court refused to disturb New Jersey's law that requires local districts to bus private and parochial school students within 20 miles or pay up to 150 dollars beyond that, matching public school transportation. The West Morris Regional Board of Education argued it violated the equal protection clause and church-state separation.
