Troy Woman Dies in Route 9 Crash Near Bennington
A 22 year old Troy woman Debra Coonradt died after a two car collision on Bennington's West Road near Gypsy Lane at 6 34 p m. The other driver William Peele 22 of Clifton Park is in serious condition at St Peters Hospital Albany and passenger William Hogan 27 Bennington is in satisfactory condition at Putnam Memorial Hospital. Police described a left fender contact with both cars demolished and no direct head on impact. This marks the 15th Bennington County traffic death this year according to state and local police tallies.
