Bennington Selectmen Accept Treasurer Resignation
Bennington city officials regretfully accepted the resignation of R Alma Langlois as town treasurer Tuesday night. Langlois has held the post since 1968, after 32 years as selectmen’s agent. She will keep the school treasurer post earning 6900 annually, while town treasurer pay is 128 per week. The 63 year old native says she has earned the rest and will enjoy a little leisure.
