Fear of development harms Marshfield landowners
Richard and Marie Wolverton face a key setback after Marshfield planners and the board of selectmen refuse a building permit on their 106 acre Marshfield parcel. The land, once owned by Stanley Brown and listed for forestry and conservation under interim zoning, was not disclosed as recreation use only. Access would be via a right of way across Brown’s land, which was denied. A public hearing on the zoning ordinance is scheduled for Thursday.
