Bennington Mobile Home Permit Regulations Tighten by Bylaw
Under local zoning bylaws a permit to place a mobile home requires a six inch concrete pad on a gravel bed, center sewer and water connections ten feet apart, masonry skirting, four eye belts in the pad for tie down cables, and a thousand gallon septic tank with drainage and water service. Estimated labor to meet the first four conditions ranges from 800 to 1000 dollars for a 12 by 6 foot mobile home.
