Wildlife Wonderland Threatens Vermont Rural Character
A Vermont letter to the editor objects to a Weston Mt. Holly development called Wildlife Wonderland. It describes 65 acres of hillside for exotic animals, bulldozed cliffs, parking for 2000 cars, and carnival-style attractions. The author cites Public Law 250, a state Supreme Court appeal, and Laurance Rockefeller’s rural preservation advocacy as context.
