Sugarbush Girl Scouts Camp At Shaftsbury
Sugarbush Girl Scout Council members gathered at the Rod and Gun Club grounds in Shaftsbury for a two week Day Camp from July 25 to August 5. Under Mrs. Nancy Steffen, juniors brownies and cadettes learned fire starting tents latrines and outdoor skills, with daily sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The juniors practiced lighting fires from scratch in three minutes as volunteers and counselors guided outdoor chores and activities.
