Tipsters turn in drug traffickers
In Ontario California a private group We Tip Inc runs a nationwide hotline to snitch on narcotics traffickers. About 700 mostly women have volunteered tips, yielding 28 arrests and two convictions. The program relies on anonymous calls, code names, and FBI-like follow ups, with rewards and safety measures for informants.
