Maunsell's Bennington History Tour Fails To Gain Traction
Pete Maunsell's History StageCoach Tour in Bennington plans to shut down after weak turnout. With 260 riders in seven weeks, he needs 70 a week to break even, despite enthusiastic comments from riders. The commercial bicentennial venture drew likely misperceptions of a rip off and limited motel support. Tickets run noon tours and early evening slots with adults at $2.95.
