Rate Hike Sought By CVPS

Central Vermont Public Service Corp filed rate increases with the Public Service Board seeking 11 to 28 percent rises, first since 1952, adding about 4 million to annual revenues. Residential bills would rise about 8 cents per day, with minimums from 2.00 to 2.30 dollars monthly and 25 kilowatt hour minimum from 2.18 to 2.48 dollars.

Small Twister Touches Down In St. Albans
