Bennington Boy Killed After Bicycle Collision
Six year old Frederick A. Kuebler died at Albany Medical Center from head injuries after a Friday morning bike cross on Gage Street in Bennington. His rider was a 1970 Mustang driven by Mildred Pierce of Bennington. Kyle Tripp, six, was injured in a separate Friday night crash on Chapel Road and listed in satisfactory condition at Putnam Memorial Hospital with a broken leg. Officials discussed bicycle safety and registration measures, but no action has been taken. The boy was born December 3, 1967, and survived by a sister, stepbrother, grandmother, and grandparents, with funeral services set for Tuesday at Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
