Fire razes Old Bennington home in early morning blaze

A fire destroyed the former Mary Sanford house in Old Bennington, leaving only a charred frame and cellar debris. Unoccupied vacation home of Rudolpho Mediavilla of San Juan Puerto Rico, the blaze was spotted at 2 45 a.m. by police officers on patrol and fought for nearly four hours by Bennington firefighters.

Explosion rocks midtown Manhattan

Kissinger says US not ready to restore ties with Cuba
