Pittsfield Council Funds Police Dog Education
Pittsfield city council allocated 2 089 95 to continue the education of the police dog Shannon after already spending 2 200 on training, much of it for overtime for the handler. Councilmen debated costs, with Arles arguing funding could fund study at Harvard and Coughlin countering the total already allocated would not cover Harvard, suggesting UMass as a more attainable option.
