Tested over 1,340 times in 69 cycles, it aims to help conceive or prevent pregnancy with a home version due this year. Inventor Kopito from MIT notes it is 100 percent safe and passive in use. Ovutime Inc. promotes a disposable tampon-sized model for home use and a physician version for clinics. The device’s reliability as a contraception method remains unproven due to limited testing.
