Hudson River Valley Commission absorbed into statewide planning
The Hudson River Valley Commission, a 54 member agency overseeing 700 square miles and 136 governments, is being merged into a new Office of Planning Services with a reduced budget. Its professional staff face possible layoff or reassignment as the seven agencies combine into one agency with about 2.7 million dollars less funding.
