A reappraisal highlights growing strain in Sacred Heart and St Francis de Sales parishes as parish budgets struggle to cover BCHS and academy costs. In St Francis Parish 163 pupils cost 233 each, with total parish outlays around 67 percent of revenue since 1961. Sacred Heart faces similar strain, including funds diverted from church building.
