Speck Told Bar Companions It Must Have Been a Sex Maniac

Richard Speck told barroom companions that a sex maniac killed the eight nurses, a witness said. Robert Gerrald, 25, testified they toured bars on Chicago's southeast side within hours of the bodies' discovery, and Speck overheard a man and woman discussing the killings. Gerrald also noted Speck denied blood on his clothes.

Day in court for man using many names in fraud case

Theodore Roosevelt Fulp, 25, formerly believed to be Henry Piccoli and later Henry Jamison, faced six fraud counts in Windsor Vermont court. Four counts were dropped. he pled guilty to two. A pre sentence probe was ordered with sentencing by May 15. Fulp had used aliases across purchases and faced a federal detainer over draft registration.
