Sugar Bush Day Camp Registration This Saturday

Neighborhood 12 Girl Scouts in Bennington County must register Saturday from 10 am to noon at listed local sites including Manchester Episcopal Church Parish House and Pownal FE L Nichols Store. Camp runs July 14 and 22 at Shaftsbury Rod and Gun Club under Mrs. Thomas Steffen and Mrs. Steven Churchill. $10 fee covers transport milk insurance meals and camp costs. If under 100 capacity after April 6, vacancies filled by mail to Mrs. Churchill. Call Mrs. Steffen at 442-4795 for info.

Easter dance set by K of C with Salerno's Band

The Knights of Columbus announce the Easter dance on Saturday April 20 starting at 9 p.m. at a local venue with Salerno's Band. Tickets are sold by several members and should be picked up and paid for promptly for committee reporting. Cribbage champion Michael Howley to be honored with the August O'Hare trophy. Bowling plans discussed for fall and summer practice. Golf tournament expected to be hosted by the local council on August 4 with handicap play. Bennington Council last year’s state champion.
