Books from a Brattleboro Basement by Tyler Resch
A Brattleboro publishing venture led by Stephen Greene and his wife Janet operates from a crowded cellar above The Book Cellar. The Stephen Greene Press, with Vermont and New England focus, contracts out printing and binds, values personal author contact, and has produced over five dozen titles since 1957. Greene, a former Vermont legislator, has been named to the Scenery Preservation Council as the press grows and diversifies into Americana and regional topics.
