Following a recommendation the Benalla Borough Council will seek a £3000 public works grant for river improvements and ask the engineer to prepare plans for submission. Height of Walls Reduced to 9 Feet at Benalla Borough Council
Benalla Borough councillors last Monday evening amended the building by law to allow 9 feet walls in main rooms with insulation options. The clause permits 9 feet in main rooms and 8 feet in bathrooms and laundries if ceilings are insulated with mineral wool at least one inch thick and eaves project at least 18 inches and are of continuous ventilation type.
