Big Crowd at Monday Race Meeting at Benalla
A large attendance supported a Benalla race meeting despite weak fields at neighboring clubs. Des Husted received praise for announcing, with Malcolm Nichobon and L Guppy handling a tight judging call. The day featured ten starters in First Restricted Handicap Hack Race won by Gulphar, and a thrilling January Handicap won by Meadow Lea. Other races included a lively Novelty Pony Race won by Rapalma with Beau Millie close behind.
