Old Bemidji armory to be demolished this week
City crews start demolition of the 1917 21 armory built for 5000 for a Coast Guard militia. Brick from the site will be salvaged for free at the city shop with usable material moved to the 4th St. fill site. Traffic detours will reroute via Bemidji Ave Midway Drive and Beltrami Ave. to 3rd St. and back until completion.
