Perpich Signs Bill For Twin Cities Sports Stadium
Gov. Rudy Perpich signed a bill creating a seven member citizens commission to choose a site and design for a new Twin Cities stadium. The measure authorizes up to 550 million dollars in revenue bonds and sets deadlines for site selection by Aug. 1 and a final decision by Dec. 1, 1978.
