Walleyes Tagged In Cass Lake Chain Study
Story and photos by Jay Griggs report a three year tagging study by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Bob Strand and Carl Henninger trap and tag walleyes to learn if they are homebodies or roam the Cass Lake chain, with traps on the Mississippi River and Turtle River. Data will guide future management and stocking policies with conclusions pending in 1975.
