POWs to be released Wednesday across three states
The Associated Press reports three Minnesota servicemen among 106 prisoners of war slated for release by Hanoi on Wednesday. Col. David Winn of Minneapolis and Lt. Col. Three Men Charged in Stennis Shooting Case

Search plane locates lost skiers one dead
A cross country trip from Gunflint Lake ended in tragedy when Timothy J. Ly nott, 23, was found dead near Disappointment Lake about eight miles from the Canadian border.
