Beltrami County Historical Society Elects Officers At Bemidji Meeting
The Beltrami County Historical Society held its annual meeting at the Beltrami County Nursing Home in Bemidji. Elected to the Board of Directors were C. L. Johnson Myrle Kalbrenner and Richard Skinner all of Bemidji. Dr William Sellon president presided. Other directors include Mrs Bertha Halvorson Elmer Gustafson John Helblad Hilda Rachuy and Anna Mae McCulloch. The society sponsored one issue of North Country magazine with local historical stories. Murdon Fisher of Northome donated a logging camp dinner horn. Gustafson displayed a kerosene lamp pump and an electric shock machine. Slides of Bemidji and area were shown by Johnson and Mittelhultz. A social hour followed.
