Trinity Lutheran marks 75 years of service in Wilton area
Trinity Lutheran Church on Route 1 Wilton celebrates its 75th anniversary with an 11 a.m. service on Sunday June 9 guest speaker Rev John Strand president of the Association of Free Lutheran Churches followed by a fellowship dinner and a 2 p.m anniversary sermon by former pastor Rev Conrad Jorgenson. The Pony Lake church sits in Beltrami County five miles west of Bemidji six miles north on Hwy 89. It organized May 20 1899 in the Lutheran Free Church with charter members and initial officers listed.

An eastern Missouri earthquake was felt across the St Louis metropolitan area at 3 05 am CDT lasting about 30 seconds. No injuries or major damage were reported though phones flooded with calls and some pictures fell from walls.
