Local man in critical condition after substation accident
William Easton, 42, of Bemidji, a journeyman for Otter Tail Power Co., is in critical condition at Bemidji Hospital with severe electrical burns from a Thursday afternoon incident at a Clearbrook area substation. Easton was found by passerby Laverne Sunderland and initially treated at Clearwater County Memorial Hospital before transfer. The cause is under investigation by Otter Tail Safety Director D R Poole. Easton had 17 years with the company.
