Sullivan campaigns for 7th District special election

Bemidji City Council Forms city rural liaison panel

Bomber seeks pardon under Carter plan

Karl Armstrong a 30 year old former Eagle Scout serving 23 years in Waupun State Prison for 1970 bombings at the University of Wisconsin Madison Army Math Research Center and a Baraboo Army ammunition plant says he will seek a clemency through Jimmy Carter's pardon program. He argues the program's spirit could apply to his antiwar actions though Carter has not proposed pardons for civilian antiwar activities.
