More than 1000 dogs and owners gather for Bemidji seventh annual Paul Bunyan Sled Dog Races with 7500 in prizes. Race chairman Todd Jansen calls it a big three event with eight races in five classes. Top teams from U S and Canada compete on Lake Bemidji with races from class A to C and junior and novice divisions. First prizes range from 1600 to 200 dollars with trophies for top five in each class.
