Vikings approve 30 year lease for domed Minneapolis stadium
The Minnesota Vikings voted 3-1 to accept a 30 year prime-tenant lease for a proposed $51 million domed stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The plan, backed by the Vikings and city officials, foresees a self-sustaining venue with revenue from tickets, concessions, parking, and advertising, but taxpayers could be asked to help if income falls short.
