In Bonn the Christian Democrats failed to oust Chancellor Willy Brandt after their motion of no confidence fell two votes short of the 249 needed. Cass Lake community improvement program opens Saturday

Cass Lake launches a community improvement effort with Scouts and other groups organizing tea cleanup and building demolition under Fire Department supervision.
