A narrator on a cliff witnesses a calm bay and a bustling city, then a black, voracious veil rolls in from the horizon. It engulfs ships and buildings, swallowing the harbor before the narrator plunges into darkness as the world ends. The shocked scene ends with the storming ruin and the abyss.
The Board of Supervisors of Allegany county will hold its Annual Session at the Court House in Belmont on November 10 1890. All persons having claims against Allegany county should present them to the Board duly verified on or before the third day of the session.
